synopsis

Fong Sai-Yuk (Jet Li) is unaware that his father is secretly a member of the Red Lotus Society, a group of rebels dedicated to the overthrow of the evil Manchu Emperor. When an imperial governor is sent on a mission to retrieve a list of members of that secret society, Fong Sai-Yuk and his feisty mother help his father and the Red Lotus Society keep the membership roster out of government hands.
