synopsis
Young hero Fong Sai-Yuk (Jet Li) is initiated into the secret Red Lotus Society, a group dedicated to the overthrow of the Qing emperor and the restoration of the Ming dynasty. The social upheaval is complicated by Fong Sai Yuk's personal moral conflict about how to conform to the rigid regime of the brotherhood--not to mention his difficult love life, saddled as he is with two high-maintenance wives.
