romeo must die - jet at the shrine auditorium

First off, Jet has asked me, the narrator, to thank everybody who attended Sunday's Comic Book Convention at the Shrine Auditorium. He appreciates the effort it took for each of you to get to the venue, considering how hard it rained that afternoon. The chance to meet so many of you in person and to listen to your questions and comments was a highly enjoyable experience for him. He was especially amused by the question asked by a little girl: "Do you like Pokemon?" His only regret was that he could not spend more time answering your questions and signing autographs as he had to attend a video shoot later in the day.
Right after leaving the Comic Book Convention, he headed to a studio in Hollywood to participate in the filming of a music video. The music video features Aaliyah as the star in her song, Try Again, and is the title track for Romeo Must Die. In that video, the director, Wayne Isham,(a veteran MTV director whose recent efforts included La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin and songs by the Backstreet Boys), blends the distinct pulsating rhythm of hip-hop music with the fluid visual grace of Chinese martial arts. He even pays homage to the trademark mirror maze scene in the movie classic, Enter the Dragon. Corey Yuen, a talented action director and friend of Jet's, flew down from Toronto so he could be present to choreograph the martial arts moves between Aaliyah and Jet. Corey made use of some intricate wirework so that the action sequences would come off as more exciting. The shooting process lasted until after 4 am the next day. Though fatiguing, it was a worthwhile experience and Jet was glad to be a part of it.
