synopsis
A police officer from China, Liu Jian (Jet Li), comes to Paris to assist in the capture of a Chinese drug lord and his unknown French connection. Betrayed by the Police Inspector, Richard (Tcheky Karyo), Liu Jian is forced to go in to hiding and, with the assitance of Jessica (Bridget Fonda), an American prostitute, he learns that keeping a promise is sometimes more important than doing your duty.
